Before creating Hawkrigger I looked all over for a belt that would be the right fit me and my lifestyle. It seemed like the marketplace had only two options; flimsy casual belts or prissy dress belts, …and that’s not me.

Then I happened upon the Marine Corps style rigger belts and found them to be in a class of their own; great looking, robust and functional. The only problem was that they were little too full-on for everyday wear and too wide to fit through my jean loops.

I realised…

that if I felt this way other folks might feel that way too. And so Hawkrigger was born, bridging the gap between tactical, outdoor, EDC to casual, with belts that offer clean design and old school quality, comfort and utility.

It turns out…

To create these belts I would ultimately have to reinvent the belt buckle combining design features drawn from climbing harnesses, tactical gear and street fashion. The result is custom hardware that will seem familiar but is in fact unique in form and function.

In 2015…

I released my first products and the response was overwhelming! All the feedback echoed a very clear message that the belts did indeed bridge that gap offering something for everyone, everyday, everywhere.

The rest is history, …these days we make much more than belts but we apply the same design ethos in everything we do.
